Veda Travertine Wall Lamp.
Combining organic modern and Japandi design elements, the Veda Travertine Wall Lamp pairs raw natural textures with functional directional lighting. This minimalist wall sconce features a circular wood backplate with an integrated metal push-button switch, supporting a cylindrical spotlight shade crafted from genuine beige travertine stone with characteristic porous details. Engineered with an adjustable swivel joint, the stone cylinder can be rotated to provide targeted task lighting.
Genuine travertine is porous and its pattern varies by piece — your shade will differ from the photos, and no two are alike.

Questions, answered.
Where does this sconce work best?
At ∅ 5.9″ × H 5.9″ the Veda is a compact, directional sconce — ideal as a bedside reading light, beside a sofa or armchair, or to spotlight artwork and shelves. Its travertine and wood pairing suits Japandi, organic modern and minimalist rooms; mount a pair either side of a bed for symmetry.
How high should I mount it, and how does the head adjust?
As a bedside reading light, mount it roughly 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the top of the mattress, offset slightly to the side so you can aim the beam onto your book. For general use, around eye level (150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor) works well. The travertine head tilts 90° vertically and rotates 350°, so you can direct the light exactly where you need it. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and works with a common wall switch (not included), plus the push-button switch on the backplate.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This fixture takes a G9 bulb. Use a G9 LED at about 3–5W in warm white (2700 K) — LED runs cool inside the compact stone cylinder and gives a focused, comfortable beam for reading. Bulbs are not included. G9 & G4 bulb guide →
How do I care for the travertine and wood?
Travertine is a natural, porous stone — clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can seep in and stain. Wipe the wood backplate with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off and let the lamp cool first. The natural pores and tonal variations in the stone are part of its character, not a defect.
