Inspiration
The Rosienne Flush Mount started from a grandmother’s embroidery hoop, a ring of smooth wood with a piece of plain linen pulled tight inside it, half covered in pink roses and green leaves stitched over many quiet evenings. When she held it up to the window, the light came through the linen and the roses showed up darker against it. We kept that wooden ring, the stretched linen and the stitched roses, and lifted the whole hoop up to the ceiling.

Which shade shape should I choose?
Faceted Panel has crisp edges and shows one rose on each panel, Gathered Dome is the softest and simplest, and Swirled Petal is the most sculptural. Because all three are the same size, you can mix them across rooms.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. The linen and embroidery are not damp rated, so avoid bathrooms with shower steam and outdoor spots.
Is it bright enough for a whole room?
Yes. Four bulbs behind the linen are enough to be the main light in a medium bedroom or living room. Add a lamp for focused reading or task work.
Do I need an electrician?
We recommend one. It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box rather than plugged in.
