Beschreibung
The desk lamp is one of those things most people replace with whatever’s on sale. The Fritz is a reason to be more deliberate about it. A vintage glass shade — the kind with a slight imperfection that makes it look like it was there before everything else — sits over a solid wood base that brings enough warmth to counter the glass’s cool clarity. The combination is familiar without being retro, modern without being cold. It looks right on a writing desk, a nightstand, or a shelf that needed one more considered object. Plug it in and the room gets a little more interesting.
Wood base + glass shade — two materials that always work together
The solid wood grounds the vintage glass, keeping it from tipping into kitsch. The result is warm, considered, and at home in modern or traditional interiors equally.
Vintage glass — warm, directional light
The shade focuses a warm pool of light exactly where it’s needed — on a page, a keyboard, a notebook — without flooding the whole room. Task lighting that doesn’t feel clinical.
Plug-in — on any surface, in any room
59″ cord, push-button switch at the base. No installation, no commitment to a single spot. Move it when the room changes; the Fritz moves with it.
Dimmer compatible — task light or bedside glow
Full brightness for reading or working. Turned low, the glass shade diffuses the light into something warm and ambient. One lamp that handles both ends of the day.
