Donuts came out of a mid-century habit we kept coming back to: making a light out of one simple shape and refusing to add anything else. So it’s a ring — a shallow glass disc with a hole through the middle, tinted the amber of old pressed glass rather than painted. Off the wall it reads as an object; lit, the tint warms everything the light touches. Nothing about it hides. That was the point.

Integrated LED — no bulb to change, and none to replace The LED is built into the fixture and cannot be replaced. Rated for around 50,000 hours — roughly 11 years at 12 hours a day — after which the whole fixture is replaced rather than the light source. There’s no bulb to buy, and no socket to match.
!
Plug-in · indoor dry locations only No wiring needed — it plugs into a standard outlet and switches on with a push-button on the cord. Plan for the cord to be visible between the fixture and the outlet, and check the outlet is within reach before choosing a mounting spot. It isn’t damp rated, so keep it out of bathrooms with shower steam and away from outdoor use.

Use Case
At Ø11.8″ and under 4″ deep, Donuts sits flat enough to work in tight spots — beside a bed, sofa, or mirror, along a hallway or stairwell, or flat on the ceiling of a low-ceiling bedroom or entry. Mount a pair either side of a bed at roughly 60–66″ from the floor, or run three down a corridor about 32–40″ apart — just check there’s an outlet within reach of the cord. The amber tint means the light lands warm no matter which colour setting you pick, so it reads as mood and accent light rather than task light — add a reading lamp where you need to see detail. for trade pricing.

FAQ
How big is it?
Ø11.8″ (30cm) across and 3.9″ (10cm) deep — one size.
Is it plug-in or hardwired?
Plug-in. It runs from a standard outlet and switches on with a push-button on the cord, so there’s no wiring and no electrician needed. The cord is 70.9″ (1.8m) in total, with the switch sitting at about the midpoint — 35.4″ (90cm) from the plug — so the lamp can sit roughly 35″ from the outlet with the button in easy reach.
Can the LED be replaced?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture and isn’t user-replaceable. It’s rated for about 50,000 hours, so in normal household use it should outlast most bulbs several times over — but at end of life the fixture is replaced, not the light source.
What does „three-colour changing“ mean?
The fixture can be set to three different colour temperatures, from warmer to cooler, so you can match it to the room and time of day. The installation guide covers how to switch between them.
Can I mount it on the ceiling?
Yes — it mounts either on a wall or flat to a ceiling, which makes it useful in low-ceiling rooms where a pendant would hang in the way.
Can it go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No — it’s rated for indoor dry locations only. Keep it away from shower steam and out of covered or open outdoor areas.
