Questions, answered.
Which size should I choose?
The 9-Lights (∅ 22.8″) suits dining rooms, bedrooms and round or square tables of about 42–54″. The 16-Lights (∅ 31.5″) makes a bolder statement in living rooms, great rooms and over larger tables of roughly 60–72″. Both are just 9.8″ tall, so either size keeps a low, drum-shaped profile.
How high should I hang it?
Over a dining table, hang the bottom of the chandelier about 30–36″ (76–91 cm) above the tabletop; in walkways and entryways, keep at least 7 ft (213 cm) of clearance beneath it. With the standard 30 cm / 11.8″ chain, the fixture drops about 21.6″ from the ceiling – on an 8 ft ceiling that works over a table, but for a walkway we can shorten the chain on request. It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box and controlled by a common wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This chandelier takes E14 or E12 bulbs – 9 for the 9-Lights and 16 for the 16-Lights. Use small LED candle or globe bulbs at about 3–5W each in warm white (2700 K) so the textured glass sparkles without glare. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How do I clean the glass tiles?
Dust the tiles regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster. For fingerprints or haze, wipe individual tiles with a barely-damp microfiber cloth and dry them straight away – never spray cleaner onto the fixture. Wipe the brass bands with a soft, dry cloth. Switch off at the wall and let the bulbs cool first.
