How is the light directed, and is each disc unique?
The alabaster disc glows warmly to give soft accent lighting rather than task brightness. Alabaster is a natural stone, so veining and translucency vary from piece to piece — no two discs are identical, and that variation is part of the material, not a defect.
How high should I mount it?
Mount it so its center sits around eye level (150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor), or flank a mirror, bed or artwork with a symmetrical pair. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box.
How do I clean the alabaster and brass?
Switch off and let it cool, then dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Alabaster is porous — never use water, solvents or abrasive cleaners on the stone; a dry cloth only. Wipe the brass bracket and backplate gently with the dry cloth as well, keeping liquid off the finish.
