Which model should I choose?
Model A (H 12.2″) is the more compact option, suited to bedsides, reading nooks and narrower walls. Model B (H 15.7″) has a taller presence for hallways, living rooms and stairwells, or flanking a mirror or fireplace. Both share the same 5.9″ × 7.9″ footprint, so they sit at a consistent scale if you use both in one home.
How high should I mount it?
For general use, mount the center of the shade around eye level, roughly 150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor. As a bedside light, place it so the shade sits about 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the top of the mattress. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and controlled by a common wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This sconce takes E14 or E12 bulbs. Use an LED bulb at about 4–5W in warm white (2700 K) – warm light brings out the soft, translucent glow of the alabaster. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How do I care for the alabaster and brass?
Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone – clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can mark or dull the surface. Wipe the brass arm and backplate with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off and let the sconce cool first. Natural veining and tonal variations in the stone are part of its character, not a defect.
