The Calysa began with a single bloom caught mid-opening — petals still curling outward, edges thinned enough for afternoon light to pass through and warm at the tips. That moment set the form: panels that curve away from a central point rather than closing into a dome, and a tint that deepens from ivory at the center to amber at the rim, the way a petal darkens where it catches sun. Hung from a long draped cord, it reads less like a fixture and more like something cut and brought indoors.

Fix the first hook where you want the shade, use the second to redirect the cord toward the nearest outlet, and let the excess loop along the wall.
The single E26 socket gives accent and ambient light rather than a room’s main source. A warm 3000K bulb brings out the ivory-to-amber gradient in the petals, and the flower form pairs naturally with rattan, linen, and warm wood tones.
What bulb do I need?
One E26 medium base bulb — the US standard screw size — up to 40W incandescent or the LED equivalent. Bulbs are not included. A warm white 3000K LED gives the best read on the ivory-to-amber petal gradient.
Can I shorten the cord?
The cord is 177″ / 450 cm and isn’t meant to be cut. Position the two included hooks where you want the shade and where the cord should turn toward the outlet, then loop or tuck the excess along the wall or behind furniture.
Do I need a special dimmer?
Because it plugs into an outlet, use an inline or outlet plug-in dimmer rather than a hardwired wall dimmer, paired with a dimmable bulb. A hardwired wall dimmer won’t control it.
What size space does it suit?
