Beschreibung
A hand-painted ceramic shade. A room that feels like it was chosen, not assembled.
Every Kikyo shade is painted by hand — the blue floral motifs and fine stripes on each ceramic surface are the work of a maker, not a machine, so no two are identical. Brass fittings and a twisted cord carry that warmth up to the canopy, and when lit, the ceramic diffuses the bulb into a quiet, even glow — warm enough to notice, calm enough to stay with.
Hung low above a round table, the Kikyo becomes the room’s focal point — the ceramic shade glowing at eye level while the painted pattern holds attention. A cluster of three at staggered heights makes a composed arrangement over a longer table.
Warm gathering light
As a bedside pendant, it frees the nightstand while bringing a quiet, artisanal presence to the room. The diffused glow is warm enough to read by, calm enough to ease into sleep — and daylight plays across the blue pattern differently than the bulb does at night.
Soft bedside glow
Above a reading chair or nook, it creates a defined overhead pool that makes the corner feel like a deliberate destination — a design moment in a space most pendants treat as an afterthought.
