A single ring is the simplest statement: ∅ 19.7″ for bedrooms, entryways and tables of about 36–48″; ∅ 23.6″ for dining and living rooms over tables of roughly 48–60″; and ∅ 31.5″ for large dining rooms and great rooms. The 2-Lights and 3-Lights combine rings of different diameters into a layered composition – ideal for foyers, stairwells and rooms with high or double-height ceilings.

Over a dining table, hang the lowest ring about 30–36″ (76–91 cm) above the tabletop; in walkways and entryways, keep at least 7 ft (213 cm) of clearance beneath it. Each configuration comes with a 150 cm / 59″ wire that can be shortened during installation, and longer wires are available on request. It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box and controlled by a common wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.

No – the Ascona uses an integrated LED light source built into the fixture, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. The light glows softly through the translucent alabaster, bringing out the natural mineral veining of each ring.

Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone – clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can mark or dull the surface. Wipe the brass hardware with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off at the wall and let the fixture cool first. Natural veining and tonal variations in the stone are part of its character, not a defect.
