The Alcorisa Alabaster Wall Sconce transforms raw geological majesty into a seamless, architectural statement. Hand-carved from a monolithic block of genuine, semi-translucent alabaster, its elegant demi-lune curved shield profile hugs the wall plane with effortless sculptural grace.
Each alabaster shade is hand-carved natural stone – its veining, translucency and tone vary by piece, so your sconce will differ slightly from the photos, and no two are alike.

Where does this sconce work best?
At L 4.9″ × W 5.5″ × H 14″, the Alcorisa’s demi-lune shield sits close to the wall, making it ideal for hallways, stairwells and tighter spaces. It also works beautifully flanking a vanity mirror, beside a bed or in pairs either side of a fireplace or console.
How high should I mount it?
Mount the center of the sconce around eye level, roughly 150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor. Flanking a vanity mirror, place a sconce on each side about 36–40″ apart; as a bedside light, place it so the bottom sits about 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the top of the mattress. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and controlled by a common wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This sconce takes an E14 or E12 bulb. Use an LED candle bulb at about 4–5W in warm white (2700 K) – warm light brings out the soft glow and veining of the alabaster. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How do I care for the alabaster?
Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone – clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can mark or dull the surface. Wipe the brass fittings with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off and let the sconce cool first. Natural veining and tonal variations are part of the stone’s character, not a defect.
