Beschreibung
Finisterre Alabaster Wall Sconce.
Drawing inspiration from the disciplined lines of classical architecture and the serene quiet luxury of organic modern design, the Finisterre Alabaster Wall Sconce reimagines the traditional torch as a sleek, elongated statement piece. Anchored by a slender vertical backplate in deep blackened bronze, the fixture pairs a domed metal cylinder with a monolithic column hand-carved from genuine, semi-translucent alabaster.
Each alabaster column is hand-carved natural stone – its veining, translucency and tone vary by piece, so your sconce will differ slightly from the photos, and no two are alike.

Questions, answered.
Where does this sconce work best?
At a slim L 3.1″ × W 3.3″ × H 18.9″, the Finisterre is a tall, narrow sconce that suits tight wall spaces – flanking a bathroom vanity mirror, along hallways and stairwells, or framing a doorway, fireplace or console. Its classical-meets-modern form works in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
How high should I mount it?
Mount the center of the sconce around eye level, roughly 150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor. Flanking a vanity mirror, place a sconce on each side about 36–40″ apart; along a hallway, space sconces about 6–8 ft apart. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and controlled by an external wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This sconce takes an E26 or E27 bulb. Because the column is only about 3″ wide, choose a slim LED bulb such as a T-shape tubular or small candle-style E26/E27 bulb at about 4–6W in warm white (2700 K), and check it fits inside the slim column. Warm light glows through the alabaster and brings out its veining. Bulbs are not included. E26 vs E27 guide →
How do I care for the alabaster?
Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone – clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can mark or dull the surface. Wipe the backplate and metal cylinder with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off at the wall and let the bulb cool first. Natural veining and tonal variations are part of the stone’s character, not a defect.
